Cat Enclosures
Mornington Peninsula
Mornington Peninsula
Catyards for Backyards designs and installs custom cat enclosures to provide cats with a safe and enriching outdoor environment. Enclosures are not a one-size-fits-all product—every garden is different, and each individual has their own unique needs and stylistic preferences.
To assist you in your pursuit of the right design, we offer 3D visualisation services. From drawing up the initial concept, to refining the final design, the medium of 3D visualisation allows us to collaborate with clients in bringing clarity to their vision.
Our preference where practical and possible will always be to attend your place to measure, discuss, and ballpark costs (free of charge). From there we will provide you with a firm quote and on acceptance of that quote we will provide you with an initial 3D drawing of proposed works. Once approved we will set a mutually convenient date for installation.
Ultimately, we love cats, and want to see them enjoy the outdoors whilst keeping them safe and protecting the local wildlife. For us there is nothing more rewarding than handing over a completed project and seeing your fur babies enjoying the space.
From time-to-time Catyards For backyards will undertake Community Jobs.
With a lot of councils implementing new by laws to keep cats 24/7 on your property, we have found some of the community struggling with the costs to comply. When the business can afford it, we will complete enclosures free of charge for those struggling financially.
We are a business and do need to make money but believe in giving back. We do this with help from our clients (donation of left-over materials (typically Netting)) and our main supplier Catnets https://catnets.com.au/.
There is nothing worse than waking up to the sound of your cat in a fight, and seeing them come home injured. With an outdoor cat enclosure, you can rest easy with their safety maximised.
An unfortunate reality of the times is that more and more pets are being kidnapped for profit or to avoid the purchase costs.
Mornington Peninsula has introduced strict 24/7 by laws. This means your cat must always be contained to your property. Click here for more details.
Cat owners know that most cats love to hunt. This has a devastating impact on local wildlife. An enclosure will significantly help to prevent this.
Cats love to play somewhere that they can feel safe, and an enclosure makes for the perfect safe and fun place for your fur baby...and it can be a lot of fun creating a play area too!
This young Frenchie (Buttons) was not happy about us installing a new cat enclosure, Buttons protested by chewing then weeing on the netting. A very memorable install :)
